Another Day

Today is just another day. Another day of being the EMS student as oppose of being the EMS instruction. Its been 10 years since I was the student. For the last 10 years, I was seen as the local expert. Im enjoying spending some time as student.
I also doing QA today while class is going on. So much for total concentration.

its 3am and im awake in the mississippi delta, looking at the full moon and stars shining wondering if i will get to sleep tonight.

Sorrow and Passing

Today and tomorrow a dear friend of mine is mourning the death and hopefully celebrating the life of her father. Although she is one of those special friends of mine, the one I think of the most and the one that fells my dreams the most, I am at a lose for providing her any comfort and support.

Seeing death and the effects of death on families is common to me, almost too common. I have held the hand of thousands of loved ones telling them I was sorry for their lost. Yet, I fear that I my sharing of sympathy isnt enough.

My heart goes out to you dear friend.
